This past summer, Annapolis Valley's newest winery - Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards - opened its doors and we couldn't be more thrilled to showcase this gorgeous venue as a wedding destination for East Coast Canadian couples. This styled wedding shoot perfectly captures the venue - from its breathtaking views and endless rows of grape vines, to its rustic charm, yet elegant interior - perfect for any couple looking for a vineyard wedding.

Before you browse the gorgeous photos captured by Brittany of Hind Hart Studios, take a look at this video from Arrow & Knot Productions. It perfectly captures the mood, feelings and surroundings of this styled shoot!

Our team at Elegant Productions was inspired by the season and the stunning landscapes of the Annapolis Valley, nestled in Nova Scotia. Lightfoot & Wolfville is a brand new winery in Wolfville that just opened only a few months before the shoot. The Annapolis Valley is quickly getting a reputation for its wines and we wanted to feature their accomplishments. On a tour of the property we were so inspired by the gorgeous building, that we knew we needed to do a shoot there, especially in their Tidal Loft and Barrel Cellar. There really is no un-photogenic place on the entire property.

The shoot has a slight nod to the winter holidays with cedar foliage in the form of a table runner and incorporated into the bouquet and centrepiece which were created by, Elegant Productions who were also responsible for the planning and design of the photoshoot. We kept the palette in reds, blacks and dark jewel tones which complimented the venue perfectly.

The Tidal Loft is the perfect space for a bride to prepare of her day and pop some bubbly with the white washed walls, sunlight streaming in and the most beautiful views of Cape Blomidon at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean just passed rows upon rows of grape vines.

The gown was custom made by Katrina Tuttle Bridal for the shoot and was a gorgeous cream tone with a wine coloured skirt overlay, which incorporated into the aesthetic perfectly. Megan Tobin, our beautiful model looked breathtaking in the gown with her hair in a loose chignon by Jessica Fletcher of Lakehouse Salon and Wellness. The warm tones of the makeup by Allison Kirby made you get lost in Megan's brown eyes, keeping her lips nude for a timeless look.

The halo style engagement ring and its matching diamond band were created by a local jeweller, Trinity Jewellers and was the perfect amount of sparkle. They also provided a simple and classic gold band for the groom. They sat pretty in a pale blue The Mrs. Box.

The fine art stationery was created by Elegant Paper Co. A simple single toned palette kept the design simple, torn edges and gold flakes elevated the suite to exquisiteness. Scribble & Script Calligraphy created illustrations of the winery and vineyard as well as provided calligraphy to complete the design. These key elements tied the paper goods into the venue in the most thoughtful way.

The Barrel Cellar is a long corridor style room lined with aging barrels of fine wine and in the middle of the room a long grouping of harvest tables created by Halifax Harvest Tables. A calligraphy tapestry created by Scribble and Script and screen printed by Midnight Oil Print & Design Housewith a romantic poem hung from one of the exposed beams and acted as a backdrop.

The table was adorned with a white runner layered with simple cedar garland. Make Merry Eventsprovided brass candle sticks that held tall black taper candles and vintage votives were scattered along the centre of the table. Vintage china, champagne glasses, a brass number stand and flatware were also pulled from Make Merry's vast rental collection.

The large floral centrepiece was filled with foraged autumn foliage from a lakeside mixed with classic red roses, silver dollar eucalyptus and cedar to elevate it's wild nature.

Three cakes by Just Iced Custom Cakes brought in the late fall feeling with dark colours, the rustic nature with a naked cake and detailed sugar art.

Capturing everything in the most beautiful way was Hind Hart Studios. Brittany MacLeod expertly photographed the entire day.
